Carlos
Hi, I’m Carlos. I teach IB English Lang & Lit (SL/HL) and spend most lessons on Paper 1 commentaries and getting IO extracts right. I’m based in Leeds and tutor online across the UK most evenings. I’ve been tutoring for 10 years, including mock-marking for a couple of local international schools. I can also walk you through choosing global issues, building the outline, and polishing citations without rewriting your voice.

Javier
I work in an ETH lab during the day and tutor Bio HL/SL on the side (5 years now). I’m good with IA planning: realistic research questions, controls, and stats that match your data. Students usually come to me for genetics, respiration, and those long Paper 2 data sets. I’m happy to sanity-check drafts and tables so you don’t lose marks on formatting and method.

Klara
I’ve worked in a Sixth Form college and have tutored Chem HL/SL privately for 9 years. I’m especially useful for IAs: picking a method that’s safe and measurable, spotting shaky variables, and writing an evaluation that sounds like you actually did the work. For exams, we’ll target energetics, equilibria, and organic mechanisms, and practise markscheme language until it sticks.

Tomas
Name’s Tomás. I tutor IB Physics from Barcelona (mostly online) and I’ve been doing it since 2018. My background is mechanical engineering, so I’m picky about units, diagrams, and whether an assumption is actually reasonable. We’ll tackle fields, circuits, and uncertainty with past-paper questions, not slides. If you’re doing the Physics IA, I can help you choose measurements you can collect at home and turn them into a clean analysis.

Layla
I studied econ locally and started tutoring when my younger brother hit HL; it’s now been 7 years and mostly Diploma students. I’m strict about diagrams matching the markscheme and about short, punchy evaluation for Paper 1. We can also sort Paper 3 calculations and your IA commentaries, especially choosing articles that lead to clear real-world analysis rather than vague opinions.

Maya
I taught Psych at a local college and have been tutoring IB Psych for 3 years, mostly HL. I keep a tidy bank of studies by topic, so essays don’t turn into last-minute cramming. We’ll practise SAQs/ERQs, command terms, and how to link evaluation to your question. Happy to help with the Psych IA write-up too, especially ethics, sampling, and design choices.

Lucas
I build software for work and tutor CS HL/SL on the side (about 4 years). If your IA is stressing you out, I’ll help you scope it properly, pick a sensible stack, and keep the documentation aligned with the criteria. I also run lots of short coding drills for Paper 1 logic, databases, and OOP, and I’m quick at spotting why code won’t compile.

Alonso
I’ve worked in operations and strategy, then moved into tutoring six years ago when colleagues kept asking for help with case studies. I focus on writing like the examiner wants: clear assumptions, linked points, and numbers that support your conclusion. We’ll practise tools like SWOT, Ansoff, and decision trees, and I can guide your Business IA from topic choice to final edits.

Elena
I’m Elena, an IB Geography tutor. I did my dissertation on urban heat and still love teaching the options with real data. I’ve tutored Geo HL/SL for 9 years, including support for fieldwork trips and IAs. We’ll work on maps, graphs, and getting case studies specific enough for Paper 2. If you’re stuck on the Geo IA, I’ll help you tighten methods, do the stats, and make your evaluation believable.

Madsen
I used to run weekly problem-solving sessions for my school’s Diploma cohort and I’ve tutored AA SL/HL for 7 years. We work fast and practical: algebra slips, calculator setup for Paper 2, and the patterns behind functions, sequences, and optimisation. If you’re doing the Maths exploration, I’ll help you narrow a topic into something you can actually model and write up.
